South Africa's oldest wine-producing area, located on the southern suburbs of Cape Town. Historically famous for its Vin de Constance dessert wine loved by Napoleon, it now produces excellent cool-climate Sauvignon Blanc and Bordeaux-style reds, cooled by False Bay breezes.
